Somerset kitchens is open to the public. Appointments are required to ensure we can schedule you with our in house designers. The initial meeting takes place in our showroom to verify you have a good understanding of our products, finishes, door styles etc. Then an on-site meeting will take place for measurements, before we begin the design process.
Once we have all measurements, we begin to design your kitchen. We will require all appliance specs at this time. A showroom meeting will be set up again to go over the kitchen design.
Yes! Bring in any plans you have a starting off point to the meeting. We love to see inspirational pictures, if you have those you can bring them to our consultation meeting.
Yes! All of the cabinetry produced is 100% custom, we do not have set size cabinets. We believe working with the space you have and maximizing it without having to add fillers. By manufacturing the cabinets in house we can maintain the high level of quality our customers deserve and expect.
No, we may specialize in kitchens, however, we provide full house millwork from bathroom vanities, media units, banquettes, custom scotch bar etc. If you can envision it, we can design and manufacture it.
Typically 6-8 weeks, depending on the scale of the project, door styles, finishes etc. We will coordinate with your contractor/ builder/designer for timeline.
Somerset kitchens does not employ piecework installers. Our cabinet makers are our installers, they will take their time to ensure the installation is done properly, make sure all cabinets are levelled, and check all appliance specs. We don’t believe in rushing to complete the install. Good things take time.
It all depends on the scale of the project. It could take anywhere from a week to a few weeks. Once we have our consultation and have clear idea of the space and scope we can then give you a timeline breakdown.
All of our cabinetry is made in house. We have a manufacturing facility located behind our showroom.
We recommend using soapy water with a microfiber cloth to clean up any surfaces. Do not use abrasive sponges, steel wool or anything with grit to clean the cabinetry. Nothing with ammonia, Murphy’s oil etc, this will compromise the finish of your cabinets.
Somerset Kitchens offers a 5 year warranty. The hinges and slides have a lifetime warranty.
